Al Furjan

A residential development of 560-hectares near Discovery Gardens and Ibn Battuta Mall. The development has seen 800 homes and 335 apartment units constructed.

Al Furjan Phase 1 contains 819 houses, each with terraces and gardens, half that are terraced homes and the remaining are five, three as well as six bedroom detached villas, however there is a lot of construction work to be completed before the whole project is completed. But, the demand from investors following an announcement that Dubai was set to be the host city for this year's 2020 World Expo resulted in the announcement of 10 new residential towers as well as seven hotel apartments.

Al Furjan is Arabic for"a collection of houses" or a'small village'. this area was designed to provide a warm neighborhood environment that is shared by residents. The houses are set up in small clusters, linked to each other by pathways and parks. All landscaping work, which includes more than 30 parks and walkways that make up one third of Al Furjan master plan, is now completed.
