His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's idea led to the creation of Dubai Maritime City. It is the first maritime industry, trade, and commerce center ever constructed in the entire world. The 249 hectares of this famous City are ideally situated between Port Rashid and Dubai's Dry-docks World. In order to develop a vibrant urban lifestyle for the nautical community, it seeks to take advantage of Dubai's advantages and position as a regional and international marine hub.
